Message from MBN President to all Members

Hope you are well and enjoying the New Year.

I am writing to you to let you know about the changes MBN has needed to implement due to Covid 19 and Venue changes.

For the first six months of the year our Business Connection Meetings will be held at the Shoppingtown Hotel. They have a fantastic Function room and have provided us with a good deal for our meeting format. This location change has happened because Manningham Council is doing a Building renovation on their Function rooms. They anticipate the room will be open in July. Once open we will be returning to the facility.

With this change, it means the Venue has a room hire fee and cost for the Breakfast. We have negotiated with the Venue and they have given us a Package that has a reduced room hire fee and very competitive price for a Hot Breakfast.

MBN will be covering the room hire fee and subsidising the Breakfast price from $22.00 to only $15.00 for a Member. Visitors will pay $22.00 for their ticket.

On the 9th Feb, we are holding our first Business Connection Meeting and doing it Face to Face. It is very exciting and we have had a lot of people working away to ensure we have a safe, comfortable Venue.

Ticket Sales close on Friday @ 4pm. With the new Covid regulations we can not accept unbooked walkins on the day.

Our Speaker; Yamini Naidu is perfect for kicking off the New Year. As we look for new Business Opportunities knowing the correct way to communicate and talk about your Business is a strength that can always be enhanced.

The Monthly Members Only Meeting has a new home too. On the 23rd Feb we are meeting in the Aura Cafe. It is located at 401/200 High St, Templestowe Lower, part of the Manningham Medical Building.

Peter, the Cafe owner has given us the room at no charge. Upon arrival at the Meeting you can purchase whatever food and beverage you like at your own expense. Peter has joined the MBN as a Member and is looking forward to seeing you and serving you on the day. Feel free to call in to the cafe before the meeting and Introduce yourself and check out the Venue.
