Google has upgraded their messaging capabilities, making it easier for businesses to connect with their clients and customers.

These new updates on Google Maps and Google My Business provide more ways for consumers to message local businesses directly and receive prompt responses.

 

GMB Messaging Expansion

The GMB app now has messaging capabilities through business profiles in the updates section and Google Posts.

Just turn messaging on from your business profile, in the desktop GMB dashboard.

You can now begin receiving and replying to questions from the business messages section in the “Updates” tab.

These messages will also appear in your GMB app, so you never miss a beat.

Communicating with consumers through direct messaging allows you as a business owner to provide prompt responses to questions.

 

This could mean the difference between searchers choosing your business product/services from  your competitor./s
