Jodie Calwell
Jodie has had a long and successful career supporting small business in the state of Victoria. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business, a Cert1V in Training and Assessment and has business mentoring accreditation.
Jodie’s background lies mainly with membership organisations, firstly working with business owners in the floristry industry to provide support and training to help maximise opportunities for small business owners.
She also worked for the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry specialising in a work place relations program across a range of industries.
Jodie is currently employed by Manningham Council as a Business Liaison Officer working with business and the events and grants team to deliver small business support.
Jodie is also a volunteer Director at Service Skills Victoria, is a former IRC Member at Skills IQ and has been a guest speaker many times over the years at Box Hill Institute of Tafe, Holmesglen Tafe, Melbourne Polytechnic and the Gordon Institute and has been an industry representative on a panel to judge Apprentice of the Year (Floristry) for Box Hill Institute of Tafe many times.
Jodie had two years at Tesselaar Flowers running a warehouse operation in West Melbourne. She was also responsible during this time for budgeting, sourcing and executing large scale installations at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Jodie in the past has also been a guest steward and judge at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
